There looks like there may be an Alabama wide receiver in the NFL that will go down as one of the greatest at the position.

Since college, most have known Devonta Smith aka Smitty, as a machine on the field. Always finding ways to step up and contribute to the team in big moments and an overall great guy.

Do you remember Smitty's game winning TD in the National Championship game?

Moments like that foretold the journey for Smitty for life after Bama.

Smith went on to be a first round draft pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021 and has since become a Super Bowl champion.

In Super Bowl LIX , DeVonta Smith had 4 receptions for 69 yards and 1 touchdown. That one touchdown was a 46-yard "Dagger" that sealed the Eagles' 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Talk about a huge moment.

Smitthy has officially made history by becoming the only wide receiver to win a Heisman, a college national title, and a Super Bowl. For this reason alone, I think he has to go down as the best WR in Alabama history.

The thing about his NFL career is he's just warming up. Who knows what the future holds for Smitty in the NFL.

Is there a Bama Wide Receiver who went onto the NFL who is above Smitty?
