Da’ Shawn Hand Sleeping, Not Driving During DUI Arrest

New details have been released about Bama defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand's DUI arrest early Saturday morning.

Hand was asleep in his car & not driving according to a report in the Tuscaloosa News.

Hand was found in the drivers seat of a cranked car, with headlights on, in a parking lot near campus.

Will these mitigating circumstances make a difference? A pre-trial hearing is set for September 18th.
