The Louisiana State University Tigers Football team is currently battling an outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, leaving the future of this weekend's game against the Crimson Tide in jeopardy.

Sources tell The Athletic that the outbreak of COVID-19 at LSU is so far reaching that the Tigers are down to just one quarterback, freshman T. J. Finley, and that no longsnappers or tight ends are currently cleared to play.

LSU is already scheduled for a make-up game against the Florida on December 12, as their game against the Gators was delayed due to a previous COVID-19 outbreak.

The Southeastern Conference Championship game is currently scheduled for December 19, leaving little room for a makegood rivalry game between the Tide and Tigers.

The SEC is expected to make an announcement about the future of the game within the next 24 hours.
