Could Alabama Be in Store for Some Record-Breaking Temperatures?
After some bitterly cold conditions and a brief warmup, Alabama could experience record-breaking temperatures this week.
As reported earlier by the Tuscaloosa Thread, February temperatures in Alabama are trending above average across most of the state, with notably higher averages in the northern region.
James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist, said he suggests “there is a good chance we break the record on February 5 (Wednesday); we will be close on Tuesday and Thursday.”
West Alabama Projected Highs
These are the current high temperatures from the National Weather Service in Birmingham. As weather conditions change, the forecast could be impacted.
