Captain Mike Kearney Remembered
Tuscaloosa Police officers are wearing black bands today across their badges in honor of Captain Mike Kearney, 57 who died Sunday at his home after fighting an illness for more than 18 months.
Captain Kearney worked for Tuscaloosa Police for 32 years, and according to the Tuscaloosa News he served in internal affairs, the Criminal Investigations Division and attended the FBI National Academy and was in the U.S. Marine Corps.
