Navy SEAL and HESCO BoneFrog Challenge Founder Brian Carney has been named to present the Freedom Trophy to the winner of the Alabama 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega!

Since it's beginning in 2014 the Freedom Trophy has quickly become a staple at Talladega Superspeedway, it is presented to the race winner by a member of one of the United States military branches – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.  The trophy features five-sided silver aluminum panels centered around a waterjet cut star. The panels are each engraved with a soldier and logo from one of our nation’s five military branches,

 

Brian Carney is a native of Deerfield, Massachusetts, Carney enlisted in the United States Navy in 1999, and upon graduating high school in 2000, joined at age 17. He achieved the rank of Special Operations Chief (SEAL) and fulfilled seven combat deployments, while being honored with the Bronze Star with Valor three times.  He will present the Freedom Trophy to the winner of the Alabama 500 October 15.
