Some double-proofed dimes look like a mirror. Yes, you can see a reflection in the coin.  Double-proofed dimes are worth something. More than its face value of ten cents.  These coins are usually minted for circulation. They are minted for collector sets, but a few roll out into circulation and that’s good news for us!

If you happen to find this 1975 double-proofed dime, you may be holding the holy grail of dimes. This is one of the most valuable dimes out there. This 1975 dime is supposed to have a small “S,” for the San Francisco mint, stamped above the year; however, it was misprinted, leading to its rarity.

If you’re looking at double-proofed dimes and see the bust of Franklin D. Roosevelt and do not see the “s” stamped above the year. You have hit the jackpot! Now if you find one of these… remember who told you about it…ME.
