Outside of the players on stage at national championship media days on Saturday, Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough might have been the most popular player inside Amalie Arena.

A week after breaking out for a school bowl record 180 yards rushing in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, media from around the country wanted to talk to the sophomore. Scarbrough answered a number of questions about that performance against Washington, but he also discussed his future at Alabama.

Despite being a true sophomore, the Tuscaloosa native is eligible for the 2017 NFL Draft because he delayed his enrollment after finishing high school with IMG Academy. Scarbrough, who was a member of the 2014 signing class, didn't join the program until January of 2015.

When asked if he felt he would be back next year, Scarbrough said definitely and that it was an easy decision.

"Why would it be hard?" Scarbrough responded.

He started slow this year after many people expected him to be a breakout player in college football, but Scarbrough has turned it on when it mattered. Over the past three games, he's totaled 361 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Scarbrough should be another point of focus for the Alabama offense on Monday night when the Crimson Tide takes on Clemson in the College Football Playoff championship game.
