For 63 years since 1962, Archibald's has been serving their iconic hickory-smoked barbeque. Known for their ribs, they’ve been a local favorite for a while now. Located in Northport on Martin Luther King or in Tuscaloosa on Greensboro you can usually catch this restaurant on any day for a good plate of food.
Buffalo Phils
Located on the UA campus, known for their wings and good drink specials, this has been a staple of The Strip’s culture since 1980 (originally opened under the name “Wings & Things”) for over 45 years of drinks and wings in Tuscaloosa.
Chuck’s Fish
Since 2005 Chuck’s has been bringing fresh Gulf seafood to Tuscaloosa. All sourced from the Harbor Docks in Florida, a market owned by Chuck’s owner Charles Morgan III, Chuck’s maintains the ability to produce fresh seafood dishes in Tuscaloosa.
Rama Jama’s
Located literally outside Bryant-Denny Stadium, Rama Jama’s is University of Alabama history. Covered by sports memorabilia from the college, this traditional burger and hotdog restaurant is a classic. Heavy on the Roll Tide atmosphere, this restaurant prides itself on having a tailgate ready, or pre-game feeling.
