Bama Fan Beaten In Bar Fight After LSU Game Dies

Family members of an Alabama football fan say he was fatally beaten in a Louisiana bar while celebrating after the LSU game.

Cops were called to the Ponchatoula Pub. 46 year old Robert Bowers was knocked unconscious by two other men at the bar. Bowers has died from his injuries.

Family is asking for support for Bowers online at #rolltideforRobert. They need help with funeral expenses.

The family believes Robert got in the fight because of his Bama "fandom" according to WBRZ TV.

Robert was reportedly blindsided by LSU fans. Police say it happened over an argument over the game. Two younger males reportedly beat Robert while he was on the floor. The two men were arrested and charged with felony manslaughter.
