Auburn vs. Akron Game Preview

It's finally here... college football is finally back! The long and awaited season kicks off tomorrow for the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Auburn Tigers. The Tigers are starting their season going up against the Akron Zips.

There could be problems for the Tigers out of the gate as new head coach Bryan Harsin is still looking to build his culture. Akron returns 10 starters on defense, presenting a challenge to Harsin and Auburn quarterback Bo Nix.

With the heavily favored offensive line that Auburn is working with, they should be owning the field on the offensive side of the ball. Their run game should also be very effective against Akron's defense with the amount of talent they have this year in the back field.

Throughout most of this game, all eyes will be on the quarterback position. TJ Finley will get his chance behind Bo Nix tomorrow night and when he does - he'll make it count. Both quarterback's will have their opportunity to run the show under this new administration and it will definitely be a battle between the two of them.
