The Iron Bowl is on the horizon but it appears the Auburn Tigers may enter the game shorthanded. Several notable names have been declared out for the game or are still listed as "questionable" The Alabama Crimson Tide is a 25-point favorite entering Saturday's contest and the Tigers will have an even harder time in the game if these players can't play.

Senior linebacker K.J. Britt will not be able to go as he is still recovering from thumb surgery he had in October. Britt was a Preseason All-SEC selection and has only played in two games this season, totaling 23 tackles.

Freshman running back Tank Bigsby is still questionable according to Auburn coach Gus Malzahn after suffering a hip injury last week against Tennessee. Bigbsy has emerged as the Tigers lead running back and has rushed for 527 yards and five touchdowns this season. Bigsby cleared 100-yards in three consecutive games in weeks three-five. If he can't play, running backs Shaun Shivers and D.J. Williams will carry the load for the Tigers.

Malzahn went on to divulge that both of the Tigers starting offensive tackles were also questionable to play in this week's Iron Bowl. Left tackle Alec Jackson is questions as he deals with a hand or wrist-injury, right tackle Brodarious Hamm suffered a lower body injury in the matchup with Tennessee.

Missing three offensive starters will make it more difficult for Malzahn and the Auburn offense to move the ball and keep up with the Crimson Tide on the scoreboard. All three players could still play but their potential absence would be a significant storyline to this year's Iron Bowl.
