All alone in Tuscaloosa for Thanksgiving

I can't be the only one who doesn't like driving all Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and make small talk with relatives for a couple days .

You know, do all that "THANKSGIVING-EY STUFF"

I know I am weird-- but I YAM WHAT I YAM ( get it ? )

I think Steve Shannon kinda is too.

I work all the time. I WANT PEACE AND QUIET WITH MY DOGGIES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

I have always been this way. Even as a kid. I used to be fascinated with Ebenezer Scrooge because he had a lot of money AND  a cool house--

and HE LIVED ALONE.

OK -- ASIDE FROM BEING A CRUSTY OLD CODGER-- he did have a pretty good deal going-- GHOSTS FROM THE PAST- PRESENT AND FUTURE NOTWITHSTANDING--

Anyhoo- I will prolly just go to Waffle House on Skyland ( Like i usually do-- ) and I'll make sure to tip them well.

5 Scrambled Soft OVER hashbrowns in a bowl with raisin toast with extra BUTTA.

The same exact thing the PILGRIMS ate before the BATTLE OF THANKSGIVING against the Netherlands in 1979.

But we gained our freedom.

Freedom to enjoy Thanksgiving  ANY WAY YOU WANT TO :)
