
Alert: 40 Mph Wind Gusts Expected Across Portions of Alabama
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “Wind Advisory” from noon Tuesday, February 27, until 6 p.m. Wednesday, February 28. (ending time has been updated from Noon to 6 p.m.)

Portions of Alabama could experience “winds shifting from Southwest to West at 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph" are expected,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham. (wind direction has been updated)
Alabamians should be cautious, as gusty winds may scatter unsecured objects. Additionally, tree limbs could be blown down, potentially leading to a few power outages.
