The National Weather Service in Birmingham said the main concerns are for “damaging winds up to 60 mph and hail up to quarter size.”

Also, “Additional rain amounts of around one inch are likely in many areas over the next 18 hours,” said James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist.

The overall threat timeline is between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m.
