2022 five-star running back Emmanuel Henderson is trending towards the Alabama Crimson Tide, according to Hank South of BamaOnline.

South dropped his 247Sports crystal ball prediction in favor of the 6-foot-1 185 pound back committing to the Crimson Tide, the second in the last week.  Henderson, a Hartford, AL native, will announce his college decision on March 13th.

Henderson announced a top-10 schools attempting to earn his commitment, including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Clemson, Florida, LSU, Mississippi State, USC, Tennessee and South Carolina.

While Henderson’s main recruiter was former Alabama running backs coach Charles Huff, Alabama hired elite recruiter Robert Gillespie from North Carolina to be the new position coach.

Alabama currently has one commitment for the 2022 recruiting cycle in 4-star Mobile linebacker Robert Woodyard, good enough for the 30th best class in the nation. This ranking would skyrocket with Henderson’s commitment.
