When is the last time you wiped your steering wheel? Steering wheel! Admittedly it has been a while. A study reports that most drivers say they clean their steering wheel about once every three months. A lot of bacteria can collect in three months.

One used car establishment swabbed steering wheels in cleaner looking cars and found more bacteria than is found in a public toilet. And those were the “clean” cars.

The eye opening research study reports four out of five drivers say they never clean their steering wheels. Never. This is like never brushing teeth.!

Keeping antibacterial wipes in the car and using them to wipe your steering wheel is solid advice. Wiping every day is probably a good idea..
Make sure your steering wheel is at the very least cleaner than your toilet.
