Alabama Picks Up Local Commitment from Hillcrest RB Brian Robinson

The University of Alabama didn't travel far to find its latest running back commitment for 2017. Four-star running back Brian Robinson of Hillcrest High School in Tuscaloosa made his decision following a visit to the LSU game. 

Robinson made the announcement via his Twitter account.

The 6-foot-1, 213-pound junior has enjoyed a breakout season in 2015 that included a 6A record 447 yards rushing against defending state champion Clay-Chalkville in week three.

Hillcrest travels to Opelika to take on the undefeated and second-ranked Bulldogs on Friday night.

Robinson becomes the eighth Alabama commitment for the class of 2017 and the third running back.
