The time has come to put up or shut up. We’re talking about going home for a long off-season.

Making that long off-season even worse is the thought of Oklahoma beating us three times in a row.

That cannot happen.

THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN.

I believe the Alabama Crimson Tide will win this playoff game by a score of 31-17.

That’s my prediction, but let’s get back to the numbers. This is the ninth meeting between Alabama and Oklahoma.

And we do not have a winning record in this series, as we trail 2-5-1.

Kalen DeBoer has had a rough time with Oklahoma. This is his third attempt at beating them, and he is 0-2.

Alabama offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor has been named a first-team All-American by three of the five major outlets at the end of the 2025 regular season.

The Crimson Tide will be making it 63rd appearance overall on the popular ESPN college game day program. When the Tide has been featured on the show, we have a record of 40-22.

Only two teams have been featured as heavily on ESPN: the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Ohio State has appeared 68 times, to our 63 appearances.

Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and Oklahoma are tied for a distant third with 43 appearances.

And one more interesting fact, head coach Kalen DeBoer has a 19-5 record against ranked opponents, including an impressive 6-2 record against Top Ten teams.

Now, a little Christmas fun!
