Shor was considered a 3-star prospect out of Denmark High School in Alpharetta, GA. He joined the Tide as the lowest rated offensive lineman in the 2022 class, 247Sports ranked him as the No. 33 offensive tackle prospect in the nation.

He chose to join Alabama over offers from Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M, Tennessee and many others. He now takes his chances with the transfer portal as he's in search of where he will play his freshman year.

The Crimson Tide is left with Tyler Booker and Elijah Pritchett as the lone two lineman in the 2022 recruiting class.
