Alabama Men’s Basketball Giving Students a Chance to Tryout for Team
If you want to be part of the Avery Johnson #BuckleUp era at Alabama, you have one week to get your game in order. The Crimson Tide men's basketball team will hold open tryouts for students on Wednesday, October 30.
There are two qualifications for anyone interested in participating: you have to be currently enrolled at The University of Alabama and you have to pass a medical physical.
According to RollTide.com, testing "includes all lab work and results from EKG and sickle cell trait tests. Students also must bring proof of the physical, a completed medical history form, completed insurance form and copy of front and back of insurance card."
You'll have until Monday at 5 PM to turn in all of your paperwork, which you have to complete or you can't tryout. A that point, you better get some rest because your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will come early on Wednesday. Check-in begins at 6 AM with warmups and tryouts get underway 30 minutes later.
Alabama's 2015-16 schedule begins with an exhibition game against Trevecca Nazarene on November 6.
