NFL cut day came and went this past Saturday and the NFL opened up tonight with the Houston Texans taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. With rosters finalized, colleges were able analyze the makeup of rosters and use it as bragging rights and in the cut-throat world of recruiting. The Crimson Tide leads all colleges with players who made NFL rosters this year with 56.

The Tide was followed by LSU, Florida and Georgia as schools from the SEC with a bevy of players playing professionally.

Coach Saban often uses his alumni's professional success as an example that players in his program can create long-term value for themselves. This is the second year in a row that Alabama has led all colleges in players on NFL Rosters. These are the current Crimson Tide players who are on active rosters and not on Injured Reserve.
