Alabama High School Football Players Hospitalized After Locker Room Collapse
Five Oakman high school football players were hospitalized after a locker room collapse.
Three of the five players were starters and may not be able to play this week according to their coach.
The team was in the visitor's locker room Friday night at Pike County High School. A brick wall collapsed onto the players while they were sitting on a bench.
The head coach told tv reporters he heard screams and saw players in pain and horror.
Five players wee transported to the hospital. Three players suffered back injuries. The players were reportedly traumatized by the freak accident.
The first round playoff game was postponed until 2pm Monday afternoon.
