Head coach Dana Duckworth announced the Alabama gymnastics team’s 2018 HOME SCHEDULE on Thursday. The Crimson Tide’s home slate includes six regular-season meets and the 2018 NCAA Regional Championships.

“We have such an exciting lineup this year, we just can’t wait to get out there in Coleman Coliseum and compete in front of the best fans around,” Duckworth said. “We’re also thrilled to have some of the nation’s best teams coming to Tuscaloosa. The level of competition is going to be amazing and that will only help us as we prepare for the championship season.”

All six regular-season home meets will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. CT. Season tickets are on sale now through the Alabama Ticket Office (205.348.2262) located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum and online at RollTide.com.

“Our fans are our biggest competitive advantage, so I hope all of you will get your season tickets today and encourage your friends and family to do the same,” Duckworth said. “You’re not going to want to miss a second of this season.”

The Crimson Tide opens its home slate with four-straight Southeastern Conference meets, starting Jan. 12 against archrival Georgia. The Tide then welcomes Missouri to the Coliseum on Jan. 26 before Arkansas opens the Tide’s February schedule on the second with Alabama’s annual Power of Pink meet.

On Feb. 16, Alabama will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its 1988 NCAA championship team during its meet again Kentucky. The meet will serve as the centerpiece of the Tide’s alumni weekend.

Alabama takes on the UNC Tar Heels on March 2 before closing the regular season against two-time defending NCAA Champion Oklahoma on March 16.

The Tide will also play host to the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional on April 7. It will mark the 15th time Alabama has played host to a regional championship, with the last time coming in 2016.

In addition to its regular and postseason events, Alabama will introduce the 2018 team on Dec. 8 in Coleman Coliseum with its fun-filled Crimson and White Preview.

“We haven’t done something like this in such a long time, but we wanted everyone to come and meet this year’s team and get a sneak preview of what the season is going to look like and maybe learn something about gymnastics that they didn’t know before,” Duckworth said. “It’s a night entirely dedicated to fun.”
