Alabama Braces for a Winter Storm: Snow, Sleet, Freezing Rain
Alabamians should prepare for an arctic front that will potentially deliver dangerous temperatures, snow, sleet, and freezing rain to some areas. As the Townsquare Media Weather Center closely monitors this batch of winter weather; we are looking ahead to another arctic blast the weekend of January 20 – 21.
I can’t stress enough that winter weather in the Deep South is tough to predict. Also, as weather conditions change along the track and passage of the arctic front, this could change the weather outlook for our area. My advice is to stay prepared and check back often for updates.
