The "Fourth Quarter" program is beneficial to the early-enrolees as they get a chance to experience the Alabama standard ahead of schedule. It will be the first full "Fourth Quarter" for Dr. Matt Rhea and David Ballou to oversee as both were hired last season.

The Crimson Tide has plans to start Spring football practice on Friday, March 19 according to Ryan Fowler, host of "The Game". Alabama fans who wish to see the defending champions can make plans to go to A-Day on Saturday, April 19.

Last season Alabama was unable to hold Spring practice due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequently cancelled the annual spring game spectacle. Alabama has said this year's event is planned for April 19 but it will inevitably look different this year with considerations being made for social distancing as well as other COVID-19 protocols.

Spring practice will prove interesting as Alabama will be looking to replace several starters from the 2020 roster in particular the Tide will have to find a new starting quarterback. Nick Saban will be breaking in five new coaches including new offensive coordinator, Bill O'Brien
