
Alabama Alert: Wind Advisory Issued Ahead of Severe Weather Threat
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “Wind Advisory.” This advisory is from Saturday at 9 p.m. until Sunday at 9 a.m.
The advisory time was extended on Saturday at 8:37 p.m.
You can expect southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
Remember that gusty winds can blow around unsecured objects, trees could be blown down, and a few power outages could also happen.
Also, winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
The entire West and Central Alabama area is under this Wind Advisory.
