Advisory: Expect Frigid Wind Chill Values for Portions of Alabama
Concerning wind chill index values prompted various “Wind Chill Advisories” from the National Weather Service in Birmingham for portions of Alabama. These advisories do impact some of the counties that Townsquare Media serves.
Be mindful of the anticipated frigid wind chills, as temperatures could drop as low as 5 degrees below zero in some regions.
The National Weather Service in Birmingham said, "The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.”
Take time out to be sure you are prepared if going outdoors. It is recommended to wear appropriate clothing like a hat, gloves, and coat.
