Advisory Alert: Winds Are Picking Up in West Alabama

I bet you have noticed the winds are picking up. Today, Thursday, November 21, you can expect Northwest winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a “Wind Advisory” for portions of Alabama.

This advisory is in effect until 6 p.m.

Please remember that “gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Trees could be blown down, and a few power outages may result,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
