A Letter From Tuscaloosa’s Copper Top Shooter
Nathan Van Wilkins, known as the Copper Top Shooter of Tuscaloosa, walked into a downtown Tuscaloosa bar and opened fire, injuring 17 people. He was sentenced to 30 years for attempted murder, 30 years for second-degree assault and 20 years for second-degree arson, all to be served concurrently. He has served 7 years and wrote this letter to the Tuscaloosa News and to his victims.
