I love this idea, and with my wife and daughter visiting family for a few days I stole this it.

A mom in England is making headlines for drawing a 'hug button' on her son's hand because he was nervous about the first day of school.  To make him feel better, she drew a heart on her hand and a heart on his hand, plus a spare one on his arm in case the one on his hand wore off, and said every time he pressed it they could send hugs to one another.   They "charged"' them up by holding hands on the way to school.  When she picked him up she asked if he got her my hugs and he said "Yep!  I pressed it for a long time mummy but I didn’t cry".

What a great parenting tip.  I bet you have some great parenting ideas too, I'd love to hear them so take a minute and share them and I'll try to pass them along.
