San Marcos, Texas based Sons of Fathers have just released their second full length record 'Burning Day's and the world is starting to take notice.

I've been a fan of Sons of Fathers for nearly two years now and the first thing that comes to mind when describing their music is... amazing harmonies! The group is made up of David Beck and Paul Cauthen, both coming from a music background of sorts. Cauthen learned guitar from his preacher grandfather and Beck is the son of Bill Whitbeck who has toured and played bass in Robert Earl Keen's band for years.

Legendary producer Lloyd Maines put it best when he described the band as "The Everly Brothers meets Neil Young and Merle Haggard and The Clash." For me, Sons of Fathers makes soulful Americana!
