High School Football Practice Begins Today

Before the Crimson Tide hit the field in Atlanta to take on Florida State, high school players across the state will take the field to kick off their 2017 season.  The first high school football games are August 24.  Fall practice begins today, although most teams have been participating in weight lifting, conditioning and 7 on 7 competitions.

You can hear each Hillcrest High game on 95.3 The Bear again this fall, the Patriots first game is 8/25 at Oxford.

The playoffs begin Nov. 10, and the Super 7 championships, all seven championship games, will be at Bryant-Denny Stadium December 6-8.
