The DCH Foundation's 17th annual BBQ and Blues event will be Saturday May 17th at the historic L&N Train Station. The fun kicks off at 6pm. Natalie Abbot and Wilson Moore stopped in the 95.3 The Bear Studio this morning to tell us about it.

Natalie Abbot, Special Events Manager for the DCH Foundation, and Wilson Moore with Pritchett-Moore Realty and Co-Chair of the BBQ & Blues event are excited about the outpouring of support for this years event.  The Proceeds benefit the DCH Help & Hope Patient Assistance Fund.

Since 1998, BBQ & Blues has supported the DCH Help & Hope Patient Assistance Fund, which helps create excellent outcomes in the Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center by assisting patients who face financial difficulties during treatment. This fund helps patients concentrate on their battle against cancer by providing financial assistance for medications, lodging, medical equipment and transportation to and from treatments.

This years BBQ a& Blues features a silent auction,  McAbee Pigfitters BBQ and live music by blues legend "T-Bone" Pruitt. Last year the event raised over $50,000 for the
