West Alabama Works has partnered with DCH Health System to host a virtual hiring fair August 13th through August 16th, with immediate openings in positions that could bring a signing bonus of up to $10,000.

The number of confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus within Tuscaloosa County has almost doubled in the past two weeks.

Tuscaloosa Police have been on the scene of a shooting and standoff at 20th Avenue East since around 1pm today.  It's believed that a Tuscaloosa man shot his wife, and grandson and then barricaded himself inside a house. Right now, 12 Tuscaloosa Swat team members are on the porch of the house and a negotiator is on the phone with the shooter inside...
