University of Alabama Commemorates 10th Anniversary of Tuscaloosa Tornado with Ceremony, Acts of Service
The University of Alabama is marking the tenth anniversary of the EF-4 tornado that devastated the city of Tuscaloosa with a special ceremony today.
Students and community members are invited to join together in front of Denny Chimes at 5 p.m. this evening for remarks from Dean of Students Dr. Stacy Jones. Denny Chimes will then sound at 5:13 p.m.--the exact time the tornado touched down in Tuscaloosa.

The City of Tuscaloosa also has memorial events planned for this evening at sites in Rosedale, Alberta, and Forest Lake.
