The Tuscaloosa PARA park destroyed in the April 27, 2011 tornado is almost ready to re-open to the public!

Playground equipment was delivered to Harmon Field this week thanks to funding provided by the city of Tuscaloosa and other participating foundations.

"It's really exciting for the area. There are housing developments behind us on the block behind us so there will be a lot of opportunities for lots and lots of kids to come out and play," Becky Booker with the Tuscaloosa Parks and Recreation Authority (PARA) told WBRC.
