Alabama rolled out to an 8-0 start to the season before heading into its bye week, and it couldn't have come at a better time. A number of players have been dealing with injuries - as is the case for most teams heading into November - including quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts.

Tagovailoa has been dealing with a minor knee sprain while Hurts underwent a surgical procedure on his ankle. Both guys are practicing this week ahead of a game against No. 4 LSU and Tagovailoa said he's ready to go.

"I'm 100 percent on my knee," the sophomore quarterback said. "I feel 100 percent on my knee. A lot of the guys on our team, I ask them if they need a knee brace because I don't need it, but these guys want to keep me safe so I have to use a knee brace."

The Hawaii native has already played on the biggest stages in football but Saturday night will be another animal all together in Death Valley.

"As a team, we're very confident going into an atmosphere like this. I thought Tennessee was a very loud atmosphere but a lot of the guys who played in previous years on this team said that this stadium is about two times louder than what we've heard."

No surprise, but the cool-headed Tagovailoa is embracing the national spotlight and primetime matchup against another College Football Playoff contender.

"I think this is what college football is all about, you know. This is what the fans want to see. This is what everyone wants to see. Getting the opportunity to go out and perform at a place like Louisiana is going to be really exciting."

Saturday night's game is set for 7:00 p.m. on CBS with pregame coverage beginning at 1 p.m. on Tide 102.9, 100.9, and 95.3 the Bear.
