TikTok on Game Day Fashion Choices Goes Viral in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Alabama began its 2021 season by beating the hell out of a totally overrated Miami team in Atlanta last weekend. Thousands packed into the Mercedes-Benz stadium to watch the Tide roll, and like any Alabama game, fans dressed in their best to rep the Tide.

I love checking out people's outfits on game day. You get a wide range of fashion choices from the off-color crimson tees some folks buy at Walmart to the $$$$ boutique dresses some girls sport while also climbing to their stadium seats in high heels. I'm not the kind of person who's going to judge you for your Saturday drip, as we're all Bama fans and here for the same thing.

There, is however, one TikToker who is EXTREMELY PRESSED about girls' gameday attire. I'm sure she's been all over your FYP, too, but if that's not the case allow me to burden you with the knowledge that this "hot take" exists.

GIRLS, DID YOU KNOW THAT WE CAN'T WEAR BLACK ON GAME DAY? Did you know that? What a helpful PSA that is, I am sure, not influenced in any way by internalized misogyny or an undeserved sense of elitism.

The "PSA" wasn't well-received, so she doubled down by sharing the FACTS in yet another video.

Like, ma'am: why are you so pressed about this? Who cares what people wear? How does a college girl's game day attire directly affect your life in any way? Have you ever tried, you know, LETTING PEOPLE ENJOY THINGS?
