I've always wanted to have a dog I could train, play fetch with, and who loves to play. That is the type of pet that's up for adoption this week. Every week we team up with the Humane Society of West Alabama to bring you a new pet who is up for adoption and is looking for a loving home. If you're in search of a good family pet, consider this sweet terrier/Labrador mix from the Humane Society of West Alabama. This week's HSWA Pet of the Week is Brenda Sue.

Press Release

Brenda Sue is a 3-year old terrier/Labrador mix who was rescued from a local hoarding case. She is currently underweight, but will be a healthy weight once she reaches 30-35 pounds. Brenda Sue is very sweet, social, and loves to play. She has already learned the "sit" command and seems to be very trainable. She has come so far in such a short time; all she wants is your love, attention, and pets! This beautiful dog is looking for someone who will help her with leash training so she can get out and enjoy daily walks.

Brenda Sue is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl a chance at a normal life, call us at 205-554-0011 or email humaneswa@yahoo.com to request an appointment to see her. Our adoption fee is $75.
