Can you sing? Can you dance? Can you play an instrument? Can you tell jokes? Whatever your talent, auditions are taking place this week for Kip Tyner Productions Annual Talent Show, which takes place at The Bama Theatre at 6pm on Saturday, August 19th.

Auditions for the talent show will be held at McFarland Mall at 6pm this Thursday and Friday, and 1pm on Saturday.

The show, now in it's 30th year, is state’s longest-running talent show, featuring not only local talent, but also contestants from all across Alabama and The Southeast.

Kip Tyner told The Tuscaloosa News,I don’t want people to think this is a kids’ show, because it’s for everybody.” Tyner added. “It’s not just for people who want to move on and get a job at Disney World, it’s a chance to perform, to entertain and to raise money for charities.” According to Tyner, contestants ranged in age from 6 to 92-years-old last year, and he encourages people of ALL ages to audition

The contest is open to all ages and is free to enter.
