The Gordo Greenwave (2-0, 0-0) won its home opener against the Aliceville Yellow Jackets (1-1, 0-0) tonight 30-12 at Pickens County High School. The Greenwave is playing its home games at Pickens County High School due to stadium construction.

Gordo's QB Tanner Bailey is something really young and really special. He's a pro-style QB with a cannon for an arm and a high IQ under the helmet.
