Only a couple days after Georgia wide receiver Jermaine Burton visited Alabama and decided to join the Crimson Tide for the upcoming season, he's already received much criticism from many Bulldog fans, including a former Bulldogs wide receiver.
Sophomore wide receiver Jermaine Burton has made a decision on where he will play next season. The Georgia receiver announced on his Twitter Sunday afternoon that Burton will be taking his talents to Tuscaloosa and join the Alabama Crimson Tide.
An Alabama win over Arkansas this weekend will set up a Titanic matchup in the SEC Championship game between Georgia and Alabama. Smart is 0-4 against Alabama while at the helm for Georgia but his 2021 squad looks to be the team to break that streak and potentially eliminate the Crimson Tide from playoff contention.
Former Alabama strength and conditioning coach and University of Georgia special teams coordinator Scott Cochran has reportedly stepped away from the Bulldog program. Cochran left Alabama for Georgia to take an on-field coaching role in the spring of 2020.
