Students at the University of Alabama will look for a back-to-back win over their rivals as the annual Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger food drive returns this week.
The University of Alabama took home the win for the annual Beat Auburn Beat Hunger campaign, raising over 500,000 pounds of food that will benefit the West Alabama Food Bank.
The friendly philanthropic competition between the rival institutions will hold its kickoff event on the steps of the state capitol for the first time since 2019 on September 30.
The annual Beat Auburn Beat Hunger Food Drive has wrapped up and so has a similar drive down at Auburn. Now, it is time announce how much was collected with each drive and name the 2015 winner!
Before we get to that total, just know the greater good which has been done with each college community to stock local food banks to help neighbors in need...
The Crimson Tide continues to ROLL with the Beat Auburn Beat Hunger food drive! This now makes it 4 strong years in-a-row that UA has collected more than AU. Plus, a new milestone was achieved with over 300,000 pounds in collections!
The final push is on to make those last collections and to make them count! Friday (November 21st) is the final day for the Beat Auburn Beat Hunger drive, benefiting our West Alabama Food Bank.
