The Tuscaloosa City Council honored native son Alex Drueke Tuesday night, celebrating his safe homecoming after more than 100 days as a Russian prisoner of war.
Alex Drueke and Andy Huynh are back in Alabama with their families after spending more than 100 days in the captivity of Russian-backed forces in Ukraine.
Alex Drueke and Andy Huynh, the Alabama men who were captured by Russian forces while fighting alongside Ukraine in June, were release after being held captive for 104 days.
