According to the National Weather Service in Birmingham, Alabama, the severe weather threat across the western side of the state has been lifted.

In addition, the wind advisory was also ended early by the National Weather Service. West Alabama is no longer under a severe weather threat, although they are under a flood watch until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday evening.

East of I-65 is still under a marginal to slight risk of severe weather. that will run through 8:00 p.m. Saturday night.

Townsquare media will continue to have severe weather updates throughout the weekend should anything pop up.
