953 The Bear is watching the weather this afternoon for the possibility of a few isolated strong storms to severe storms that could contain some gusty winds and lightning.

The window of concern is between 3:30-7 p.m. and the greatest risk is for Marion, Winston, Lamar, Fayette, Walker, and Northern Tuscaloosa County.  The main "threat line" runs through Vernon, Fayette, Samantha, Jasper and Oak Grove.  There is a mild threat for hail and winds over 40 mph as temps stay really hot around 95 degrees.
