Scott Shepherd Ate A Moldy Apple Pie

I'm not proud of this but I do find it quite humerus.  My wife and I bought a couple apple tarts from the farmers market Saturday. We shared one of them Saturday evening. Homemade goodness is what is was. I let the other sit on the counter. until yesterday.

It was in a zip lock bag. Randi had told me several times since Saturday that I need to "Go ahead and eat that Apple Tart". I had planned on eating it for breakfast everyday this week but forgot about it. Yesterday afternoon, I spotted the tart on the counter and decided to go ahead and eat it. I poured a glass cold milk and started munching down.

Half way through, I saw this:

Apparently you can let a homemade apple tart sit out on your counter for 4 days. It was growing mold....on the inside.... I deep sixed the remainder and finished off my milk.

I haven't fallen ill so I guess I'll live.
