Picking The Winner of ‘The Voice’

I love ‘The Voice’. I missed the first season but have been completely enthralled with Season’s 2 & 3 and a firm supporter of ‘Team Blake’. I don’t believe it’s because I work country radio, I think it’s because of the talent on his team and the ability I think he has to get every ounce of heart and soul out of his roster. Midway through Season 2, I pegged eventual winner Jermaine Paul as “The Voice” so I feel like I know a little something about the talent on the show. Although this year, I’m uncertain of whom the champ could be. Each of the coaches has a potential winner under their direction so this will take some thinking.

Looking into ‘Team Blake’ I have been a fan of Terry McDermott and Casadee Pope from the start so I am going with either of them at this point to win it. Michaela Paige is proving more and more each week that she shouldn't not be overlooked either.

I don’t feel it’s that hard to pick the overall winner on ‘Team Xtina’ especially after Sylvia Yacoub’s brilliant version of Celine’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’ last night.

At this point, I’d have go with Amanda Brown on ‘Team Adam’ although I keep finding myself strangely attracted to Melanie Martinez’s voice each time she sings.

‘Team Ceelo’ is where I find my dilemma. I think Trevin Hunte has a voice from God and all the tools to win this thing at the tender age of 18 but have found a favorite place in my heart for Nicholas David. He’s got a smooth, modern day Barry White delivery with the soul of Janis Joplin which makes perfect sense to me.

Maybe next week I will be able to better pinpoint a winner of ‘The Voice, Season 3’ but for right now I have grown to love too many of the voices. Tonight I’ll watch the Top 12 Live Results with you, enjoy a live performance from Jason Aldean and eagerly wait to hear who gets eliminated. If everyone I’ve mentioned above is in the mix tomorrow morning then I’m movin’ to Vegas!
