PARA Continues Work on Hurricane Creek

I have posted several times about Hurricane Creek. I live within walking distance of the Para operated  Park and those guys have been busy with improvements for a while now.Back in May I snapped a pic of a new bridge Para and volunteers were building for the newly groomed biking trails. The bridge is almost complete.

Yesterday, I was excited to see the work begin on the actual access road to the creek.

This will give park patrons a much easier drive. Until now, folks had to park along Old Birmingham Hwy and some would drive as far as they could before the road to the creek became non passable unless you had a 4 wheel drive.

I am looking forward to seeing what it all looks like in a few weeks!
